RiverTech, an Akima company, is hiring a Logistics Analyst II to support the DSLM contract in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The Logistics Analyst II will be responsible for equipment management, customers, and sub-contractors with basic logistics and information that ensures effective and economical support for products, service, equipment, and systems.
You will perform logistics functions to include but limited to spares analysis, maintenance planning, item record maintenance, and inventory.
Responsibilities
- Perform logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, and / or evaluating the actions needed to support specified mission requirements and system components for the Satellite Control Network (SCN).
- Implement tenets of the DoD Product Support Manager Guidebook and the 12 Integrated Product Support (ILS) Elements to integrate logistics requirements.
- Analyzes various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance / repair activities for one or more modification projects.
- Provide inputs on Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL), Request for Proposal (RFP), Basis of Estimate (BOE), Statement of Work (SOW), Bill of Material (BOM), and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
- Collect, process, and maintain data for analysis and reports. Perform functions in various Databases such as GOLDesp, PowerLogJ2, and other government approved systems.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate revisions for product support documents including technical orders (T.O.), drawings, level of repair analysis reports, provisioning analysis, and reliability, maintainability, and availability reports to ensure compliance with DoD policies and regulations.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop procedures that are cost effective and meet business objectives. Recommend improvements to existing or planned logistics processes.
- Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals.
- Perform, support, and sustain logistics functions to include system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance, and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
- Knowledge in shipping, receiving, storing, issuing stock control measures and accounting procedures.
- Simplify and standardize the collection and use of maintenance data.
- Assess and maintain compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported / exported products.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Business Administration from an accredited university / college or
- minimum of five (5) years of experience in military logistics; or Military equivalent training in logistics and eight (8) years of experience.
- Minimum five (5) years performing logistics functions and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
- Experience with United States Air Force Logistics and Supply functions within the Satellite Control Network (SCN) required.
- Experience assessing and maintaining compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported / exported products.
- Ability to travel CONUS / OCONUS, current and valid passport.
- Advanced knowledge of databases and spreadsheets; excellent data entry skills.
- Familiarity with D143, D043 Cataloging Processes, and ILS-S.
- Experience with WebFLIS, FEDLOG, PUBLOG, FEDMALL, and GSA Advantage.
- Experience performing and documenting Maintenance Task Analysis (MTAs).
- Must have experience with Logistics Management Information (LMI) databases.
Desired Qualifications :
- Experience with GOLDesp database.
- Experience with Contractor Supported Weapons Systems (CSWS) practices and procedures desired.
- Engineering Change Proposal experience (ECP).
Pay Range
$59,000 - $62,000
