POSITION SUMMARY :
Responsible for developing and delivering new business revenue through sponsorship sales in Las Vegas and across the Caesars Entertainment 50+ property portfolio.
The Director of Brand Alliances & Sponsorships will play an important role in developing and managing external brand partner relationships to deliver incremental revenue and value throughout the enterprise and in our marquee market, Las Vegas.
Ideal candidates should possess a passion for the entertainment and hospitality space, strong contacts within the sponsorship and marketing fields and be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple sales processes at a time.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : External Development :
- Prospect new clients through landscape analysis, following industry trends, research and networking
- Conduct regular sales calls, meetings and presentations
- Negotiate and close new deals
- Renew and upsell current sponsorship deals
- Build and harvest long term relationships with brands to empower future growth
Internal Development :
- Collaborate with marketing and property leads to develop new, approved, monetizable programs
- Build materials and educate Marketing teams on new growth opportunity areas
- Become in-house expert for multiple properties or segments of sponsorship and liaise with internal teams as assigned
- Work to ensure flawless execution of all deals
Additional :
- Achieve sponsorship sales revenue goals as assigned
- Host clients and prospects at on-property events
- Represent Caesars Entertainment team at off property industry events & conferences
- Other duties and projects as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Education : Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum Experience : 5-7 years in a senior sponsorship related sales or service role within casino, music, sports, entertainment, media and / or marketing industries;
experience with agency networks a plus
- Experience generating and developing focused, sellable marketing programs across a variety of categories including Food and Beverage, Entertainment, Attractions, etc.
- Skilled in creating presentation and proposals within PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate, influence and cultivate relationships within a multitude of business environments
- Detail oriented with exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work as an entrepreneur inside a large organization
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently
- Must be 21 years or older
