The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Hematology program.
Our patients and their families benefit from innovative, cutting-edge treatments and state-of-the-art programs and services.
We specialize in treating the most complex types of cancers and each treatment plan is as unique as the patient who receives it.
We invite you to explore the most comprehensive and robust cancer program in West Michigan. This position will support our growing Hematology needs with an opportunity to see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
You will work at Butterworth Hospital and Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion, on our medical mile in downtown Grand Rapids, with an occasional need for consultation at our Blodgett Hospital campus, in nearby East Grand Rapids.

- Corewell Health is currently working toward NCI designation.
- Corewell Health is scheduled to launch a Hematology Oncology fellowship training program in 2025-2026.
This is a full-time position, ideally working five 8-hour shifts per week with an option for four 10-hour shifts weekly.
Once onboarded, there will be a need to participate in a weekend rotation and outpatient call (phone only).
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Hematology Advanced Practice Provider, but new graduates will also be considered with demonstrated experience or special interest in oncology.
Qualifications
- Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
- LIC-Physician Assistant - STATE MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
