Minimum 1+ years speech therapy experience required.
A school in the Nazareth, PA area is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for the uping academic year.
The SLP will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and munication disorders, developing personalized treatment plans, and educating and training families and caregivers.
The exact caseload will be determined later. The director is ready to review applications and conduct interviews promptly.
Responsibilities :
- Conduct prehensive evaluations and diagnoses of speech, language, and munication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address each patients unique needs.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and effective management techniques.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Provide direct therapy to students in individual or group settings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient conditions, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide remendations for student support.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
- Supervise and provide guidance to speech therapy assistants as needed.
- Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Experience :
- Previous experience in a speech-language pathology setting.
- Experience working in a school setting as an SLP is preferred.
Education :
- Must have a masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Full accreditation (CCC) is preferred.
- Must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
