We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a Level IV NICU at Inova Fairfax Hospital / Inova L.J Children's Hospital.
Schedule : Full time ( 3-12 hour shifts)- rotating shift (6 weeks Days, 6 week Nights) or Full Time night shift.
Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required; prefer prior NICU level III or IV experience.

This certification represents the highest level of care for premature birth patients.

Job requirements
- Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
- Certification - Basic Life Support; For Infusion Center, obtain chemo card within 3 months of hire
- Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
Education :
BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required from American Heart Association (AHA)
RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN
