The Junior Account Manager supports the client management team in the overall administration, technology management and broad account servicing duties.
This client-facing role serves as the main point of contact for billing, eligibility and claim issues.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develops an understanding of employee health and welfare benefits and related laws.
- Works closely with consultant and account team.
- Prepares benefit, contribution and leave benchmarking.
- Maintains agency management system(s).
- Manages online client portals and conducts client demonstrations.
- Resolves enrollment, billing and claim issues.
- Prepares custom employee brochures.
- Responsible for tracking and providing first look analysis of monthly carrier claim / premium & large claim reports from carrier sites.
- Requests and tracks ID cards, benefit summaries, SBCs and SPDs.
- Assists with data gathering and preparation of total compensation statements.
- Assists with the preparation of client-ready presentations.
- Assists with marketing and spreadsheet preparation.
- Presents plan information to employees.
- Updates and distributes required annual notices.
- Builds relationships with clients through proactive communications.
- Manages the DC HealthLink administrative process for small DC based clients.
- Assists with ACA Employer Shared Responsibility reporting for clients who wish to use Keller’s reporting systems.

Education, Training and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must obtain Life & Health license within 90 days of employment.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products; required.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and / or annual bonus based on your individual performance and / or the company’s performance.
