Unit Summary :

D4 is a 30 bed intermediate care / stepdown unit. This unit cares primarily for cardiac patients in need of cardiac catheterizations, post STEMI / angioplasty, NSTEMI, post pacemaker insertion, CHF patient’s, Atrial Fibrillation or other cardiac arrhythmia’s and hyper / hypotensive patients, not meeting ICU admission criteria.

Hours : 36 hours per week, Evening / Night Shift, Every Third Weekend

Qualifications :

• Critical care experience required
• Able to read and interpret Tele strips independently
• Must have excellent time management skills
• Use of electronic based charting systems.
• BSN preferred
• Valid BLS and ACLS required, PCCN or CVRN certifications preferred
