The ideal candidate has 3+ years of full cycle accounting experience, including working for a global firm handling intercompany accounting, P&L analysis, variance analysis, strong month end close experience and can understand complex financial reporting.
This is a hybrid position.

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our vibrant Accounting and Finance team.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements and contributing to our strategic financial decisions.
Responsibilities :
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including but not limited to :
1. Preparing and analyzing profit and loss (P&L) statements, ensuring they accurately reflect the company's financial performance.
2. Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
3. Ensuring compliance with all applicable accounting standards and regulations.
4. Performing detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and anomalies.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
6. Providing guidance and support to junior accounting staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
7. Collaborating with the finance team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
8. Participating in the preparation for annual audits, liaising with external auditors as needed.
9. Identifying opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications :
To be considered for the Senior Accountant role, you must possess the following qualifications :
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or CPA designation is highly desirable.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting role, with a strong focus on P&L analysis, with a large company.
3. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
4. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
6. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
8. A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Proven leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and coaching junior staff.
10. The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising accuracy.
