Key ResponsibilitiesReview inpatient hospital claims for proper reimbursement and handle provider disputesEnsure accurate provider contract payments and appropriate diagnosis-related group (DRG) assignmentsAnalyze and manipulate databases while responding to internal requests for medical informationRequired QualificationsRHIA, RHIT, or CCS Certification with at least 4 years of experienceMS-DRG coding / auditing experienceMinimum of 3 years' experience in inpatient coding reviews / audits in health insurance or hospital settingsExperience reading and interpreting claims for at least 1 yearWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
