Responsibilities
Receive, sort, and process purchase orders.
Load and secure packages in the vehicle.
Pick up and deliver mail and packages accurately.
Maintain log books per DOT regulations (electronic or manual).
Load and off-load trucks as needed.
Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack).
Lift packages up to 50 pounds.
Assist in training new delivery drivers.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications
Safe driving record and history.
Eligibility to drive a commercial vehicle per FMCSR regulations.
Valid driver's license in line with company policy.
Preferred experience with warehouse equipment operation.
Minimum age of 20 and properly licensed in the state of residence.
Ability to read maps and use GPS.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Working Conditions
Frequent physical activities including stooping, bending, and lifting.
Varied environments : office, warehouse, and vehicle.
Adequate lighting, ventilation, and normal temperature and noise levels.
Ability to work independently is essential.
