Administrator - Nursing Home

A beautiful, skilled nursing facility located near Dumont, NJ is currently seeking an experienced Administrator.
Responsibilities of the Administrator :
- Monitor and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintain written policies and procedures that govern the operation of the facility.
- Maintain written job descriptions and performance evaluations for each staff position.
- Assist department directors in development and use of department policies and procedures and establish rapport in and between departments so that each can see the importance of teamwork.
- Interpret the facilities policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, and governmental agencies, etc.
- as necessary in accordance to board approved practice.
- Review the facility’s policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make changes as necessary to assure continued compliance with current regulations.
- Assure that all employees, resident, visitors, and the public follows established policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Must have New Jersey Administrator license
- Must have experience as an Administrator in a long term care setting
- Must have long term care experience
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
