As a full-time CT Technologist I at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends.
The CT Technologist I, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patients internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.
Summary of Essential Duties :
- Accurately interpret a physicians scanning instructions
- Administer contrast material
- Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
- Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
- Send images to Radiologist for interpretation / reading
- Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
- Follow infection control and safety guidelines

Qualifications
Education :
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Graduate of a JRCERT accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required
Licensure / Certifications :
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification (ARRT-R) required
- California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
- Venipuncture certification required
Experience :
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred
