About this team

The Product management team at Super.com is a high-performing and fast-paced team of product managers who are passionate about creating meaningful, impactful products that help our millions of customers experience more of what life has to offer.

We champion the three key pillars of successful products : data-driven business outcomes, true understanding of who our customer is, and integration of magic.

We are guided by truth-seeking, where our thirst for data-driven decision making drives us to be correct rather than look good.

We debate, dig deep, collaborate, and work together to uncover what our customers and the business need, how to build it, when and why to build it, and then help guide the execution to see it come to reality.

We experiment routinely and look for insights from quantitative and qualitative data wherever we can get it. We create the roadmap for where the product is going, assess the impact it has on our customers and business, and ensure Super.

com is a world-class product loved by millions of people. If you’re looking for a place to be challenged, be data-driven, experiment, and push product strategy forward, this is it!

About this Role

This is a critical role of team lead for our cross-functional Mission Aligned Team (MAT) for fintech engagement and retention.

You will be accountable for the OKRs and outcomes of your product domain in fintech activation, setup, habit, retention, and other engagement metrics, working directly with our secured card and other banking products.

You will directly work with engineers, designers, data analysts, and many other cross-functional partners to develop product strategy, organize and execute sprints, and deliver outcomes.

You will also invest energy into building our foundation and exploring new PMMC fits for the fintech vertical. You’ll report directly into the GPM for fintech and interface and present to executives (like the GM of fintech and head of product) on a routine basis.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent leader, drives teams to execute in ambiguous circumstances, and is able to dig deep into the data, extract key insights, and make critical decisions based on analysis.

We want someone with a strong bias for action, takes ownership, and comes with solutions to problems we didn’t know existed.

The teammate that will thrive in this role can sway through great storytelling, can operate deep in the weeds in sprints and ceremonies and also look up to the future, and is able to debate from a first principles and data-driven perspective.

You’ll experiment routinely, collaborate with research teams weekly, and completely own the roadmap for your MAT. This person is also joining a team committed to changing the landscape of finance for the underbanked and underserved in North America.

If this sounds like you, let’s talk!

Own the roadmap from end to end in terms of output and impact.

Write, Launch, and Study PRDs & Experiments - Create detailed documentation for products and experiments, A / B test, smoke test, and launch in a myriad of other ways, and study the impact of these products and make decisions on outcomes.

Define and study the best KPIs that define winning.

Manage Stakeholders - Lead up and around from executives at the top level to your GPM and adjacent MAT lead teammates.

Keep your vertical and product colleagues in step with you, be in step with them, and operate as an effective leader of leaders and teammates.

Analyze, Research, and Assess - Dig deep into Amplitude, interviews, UXR research, Hotjar, and many other tools to understand the customer, their needs and jobs to be done, the performance of the product and business, and more, so that you make strong, data-driven decisions.

Present insights to key leaders on a routine basis.

Own the Experience - Take accountability for the customer experience from end to end in your domain, ensuring the customers' needs are met with high-quality products.

Know when to compromise and put your foot down, and truly solve your customer’s problems.

Build Customer Empathy - Research, listen to, and understand our customers and their needs along with the unique financial situations and jobs to be done they face.
