Join Collins Aerospace as a Supply Chain Compliance Intern and gain valuable experience in supporting supply chain operations and procurement compliance activities.
This role offers you the chance to work closely with our Centers of Excellence Compliance Leader, contribute to audits and inspection reviews, and develop skills in internal controls and risk management.
What You Will Do :
- Assist in audits and inspection reviews to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Support alignment of site policies, procedures, and tools to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare formal written reports on audit projects and compliance matters for leadership.
- Implement inspection requirements for site purchase orders and ensure adherence to processes and standards.
- Assist with external and government audit projects, contributing to compliance efforts.
- Support process improvement activities by developing tools and solutions to enhance business results.
What You Will Learn :
- Techniques for conducting and supporting audits and inspections in supply chain operations.
- Skills in aligning policies and procedures with regulatory requirements.
- Methods for preparing and presenting formal presentations to leadership.
- Insights into compliance with purchasing systems, customer and US Government audit requirements.
- Knowledge of supply chain policies and procedures, including handling customer inquiries and audit requests.
- Experience in developing process improvements and compliance tools.
Qualifications You Must Have :
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, and the student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program / contract.
Qualifications We Prefer :
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for supporting audits and compliance activities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and stakeholder interactions.
- Ability to develop working relationships with a variety of people located across the country.
- Interest or experience in programming languages such as C#, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
