Salary : $25 - $30 / hr
New Method Wellness is seeking a qualified substance use disorder counselor who is caring, kind, and organized to work as a dual diagnosis counselor who can lead groups, process individual counseling, and complete and manage schedules.
Responsibilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Applications
- Utilize computer applications to complete counseling notes
- Develop treatment plans for clients in counseling services
- Create and lead quality groups and submit progress and individual notes in a timely manner.
- Conduct individual therapy sessions as authorized
- Complete intakes, biopsychosocials and UAs
- Complete Discharge Summaries
- Fulfill other clinical responsibilities as directed by the Clinical Director
Qualifications
- State of California Substance Abuse Certification
- Substance Abuse Counseling : 1 year (Preferred)
Schedule :
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
