As the Technical Account Manager, you'll be at the forefront of transforming outdoor recreation technology across 281 state parks, working alongside executive leadership to drive innovation and operational excellence.
This role is based in Sacramento with flexibility for remote work. Regular travel to California will be required.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead post-implementation operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to integrate cutting-edge solutions in park operations, software, and hardware
- Develop and maintain operational frameworks, KPIs, and SLAs to drive service quality and contract compliance
- Act as a trusted advisor to C-level government leaders, translating complex technical concepts into strategic business value
- Lead proactive initiatives to enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth for DPR
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical operations, service delivery, or customer success roles, preferably in the government or public sector
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and articulate complex software systems, payment platforms, and data analytics solutions
- Exceptional project management skills and a track record of coordinating multiple stakeholders in large-scale implementations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels of an organization
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
- Bachelor's degree in related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or customer success credentials a big plus.
- Experience with government technology implementations or outdoor recreation industry knowledge
