JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Entertainment is seeking a Manager, Human Resources to support the alignment of HR strategy with business objectives across designated client business units, and working alongside the HR leaders, act as a trusted advisor to clients at all levels, providing guidance, constructive feedback and strategic solutions.
Additional responsibilities for the Manager, Human Resources include delivering efficient HR services including interpreting and applying HR policies;
performance management; organizational and management development; employee relations; employee coaching; headcount / budget analysis.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with HR leads, help business unit management align HR strategy to business objectives; coach, counsel and provide strategic solutions for all client issues;
support staff development and employee management
- Assist with employee relations situations and performance management; interpret and apply HR policies; and oversee HR procedures, including providing supervision and guidance to department HR Coordinator
- Assist with all aspects of the employee life-cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, job changes, leaves of absence, relocations, immigration issues, terminations, and the exit process
- Champion and drive a culture of high performance, innovation and accountability
- Partner with client group and Compensation on annual bonus and salary planning processes; salary recommendations for new hires, promotions and equity adjustments;
and usage of X-Award spot bonus program to reward strong performers
- Partner with Organizational Development & Training to analyze needs of business unit, including identifying training needs for the group as well as individual executive coaching needs
- Support re-orgs / restructures and acquisitions
- Manage annual performance review process, including reviewing all performance reviews and counseling management on effective ways to evaluate and communicate job performance to employee
- Partner with client group and Legal as needed on hiring Independent Contractors and freelancers, including reviewing and determining proper classification
- Partner with client group and Finance on headcount, budgets, restructures, freelance and temp costs, and strategic planning of new business growth
- Handle special projects as needed
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 5+ years HR experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, policies and California employment law
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Critical problem solving skills required. Must be a strategic thinker who effectively communicates point of view
- Comprehensive budget knowledge
- Familiarity with HR systems (. Workday) and proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Lucid
- Skilled at establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and HR teams
- Media / Entertainment experience
- Bachelor Degree

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is : $84,500.
00-118,500.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical / dental / vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
