Job Posting : Certified School Nurse
Location : Near Glendale Heights, IL
Start Date : August 12, 2024 - May 29, 2025
Hours : Full-time (open to part-time), serving 2 elementary school sites
Responsibilities :
- Provide health services to students in the school health office.
- Conduct health assessments and screenings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents on student health concerns.
- Assist in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings for special needs students.
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
- Promote health education and wellness initiatives within the school munity.
Requirements :
- Must have both of these items to be considered, NO exceptions
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
- Certified School Nurse (CSN) certification.
- Experience or willingness to assist in IEP meetings.
- pletion of the ISBE medical review course for IEP designates.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
