Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 19 : 00-07 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : Varies Experience : Minimum 2 years License : RN License Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : - Ability to work well under pressure - Great assessment skills Job Description : - Work in a Level II Trauma unit with 15 beds and a team of 38 staff members - Collaborate with day and night shift teams comprising intensivists, RNs, desk techs, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management - Patient ratios are maintained at 2 : 1 - Operate equipment including general CR monitoring, CRRT, and TPT placements - Utilize Meditech electronic medical records system - Perform typical procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placement - Engage in a teaching hospital environment with opportunities for skill development - Ideal candidates will exhibit attention to detail and have a willingness to learn new skills Additional Information : - The unit is equipped with new technology and equipment - Opportunities for professional growth in a supportive and experienced team environment
