About the Firm :

Our client is a boutique law firm based in New York City, focusing on international and domestic corporate and litigation matters.

Position Summary :

We are seeking a Paralegal with at least 2 years of litigation experience to support our attorneys in a variety of commercial litigation matters in New York State and Federal courts, as well as in litigation involving other U.S. and foreign jurisdictions and arbitration.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Draft notices, discovery requests, certificates, and other routine legal documents for attorney review
  • E-file documents in state and federal courts
  • Conduct factual research and basic legal research independently
  • Perform cite-checking and proofreading of legal briefs
  • Assist attorneys during court appearances and trials
  • Prepare exhibits for depositions, trials, and hearings
  • Organize case binders and materials for various proceedings
  • Communicate with court personnel across jurisdictions
  • Review, organize, and prepare documents for production

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in litigation
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and resourceful in research tasks
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Understanding of Spanish (fluency not required)
  • Fast learner with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
