Seeking a full-time Board Certified, Virginia and Tennessee Licensed Psychiatrist to for an inpatient Staff Psychiatrist opportunity.
- Tennessee licensed Psychiatrists are welcome to apply but will need to pursue a Virginia license prior to a start date.
- 7 on / 7 off schedule model
- Busy unit, accepting referrals and admissions 24-hours-a-day, days per year.
- Unit designed to provide short-term stabilization and treatment for adults whose treatment needs mandate an inpatient stabilization and treatment.
- The units goal is to return patients to a level of acuity in which comprehensive outpatient care can continue to improve the quality of life for the patient.
- Unit contains a large multipurpose treatment room, a group therapy room, a recreational therapy room, a kitchen, laundry room, offices and work area.
- The unit provides a wide range of therapeutic modalities to its patients, including : Daily rounds by the Psychiatry Team including 1 Psychiatrist and 1 Psychiatric Advanced PractitionerDaily therapeutic services lead by licensed therapists and counselors including individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapyOn-Site Case Management and Utilization ReviewRecreational activitiesPharmacologyFamily therapyOn-Site CourtEducational services
