Dermatopathologist – Altamonte Springs, FL
Our laboratory located in Altamonte Springs, FL is looking to add a Dermatopathologist to a small team of two pathologists in a high volume, collaborative practice. We are seeking a candidate that is board certified in anatomic and / or clinical pathology and is board certified in dermatopathology. We are an industry leader and in this role, you will join a great team of professionals with an outstanding support staff.
Responsibilities :
- Perform diagnostic interpretation of all dermatopathology cases
- Be familiar and able to recommend clinically appropriate advanced diagnostic testing such as molecular and genetic studies.
- Takes initiative to improve quality in the workplace.
- Participates and coordinates activities of QC / QA / QI to ensure quality care and evaluates effectiveness of quality assurance policies and procedures to enhance standards and excellence of service laboratory and company.
- Provide advice to referring physicians regarding the clinical significance of laboratory findings.
- Actively builds upon education and experience through Continuing Medical Education to maintain licensure and credentials.
