Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
Experience : Minimum 2 years required; first-timers accepted
License : Valid State License required; California license must be in hand
Certifications : ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP
Must-Have : Must be willing to float between like units and work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Job Description :
- Work in Labor and Delivery as a Registered Nurse
- Every other weekend required
- Orientation includes 40 hours of non-billable time
- Expected to float between all facilities within a given state
- Open to block schedule accommodation per manager's discretion
- No on-call requirements
- Modules are non-billable, average 16 hours spent; over 20 hours requires approval
- Modules completed pre-start and annually
- Communication devices provided if required for assignment
- Must submit monthly communication bill if device provided by agency
