Retail Omni Sales Associate (Internal Only)

Job Description

You must be a current Vuori Retail Employee to be eligible for this position. The job post lists our HQ Carlsbad address, but you are not required to live near this location as we are hiring from our Vuori stores all over the country.

The role of a Retail Omni Sales Associate at Vuori is to forge connections with customers in store and online while communicating Vuori's brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy optimistic outlook.

This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to learn about building a successful and unique retail business from the ground up.

As a full-time Omni Associate, you will work 3 days at the retail store and then spend 2 days per week working remotely to help respond to email inquiries from our customers.

Create an unforgettable customer experience

• Forge lasting relationships with customers.
• Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
• Greet customers in a timely, authentic, and engaging manner.
• Prepare the fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide honest knowledgeable feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit.

Be the business

• Achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
• Seek new product knowledge in the broader fashion landscape and active wear specifically to serve as an expert for the customer.
• Assist in the completion of projects while keeping the focus on customer experience.
• Communicate inventory needs to support the business goal.

Operations

• Ensure the sales floor is stocked every evening.
• Collaborate with management in areas of inventory management.
• Ensure the retail store is cleaned on a regular basis including floors and bathroom.
• Understand and execute cash control procedures including bank deposits, petty cash.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising / visual directives.
• Ensure selling floor is neat, clean, organized and reflects the correct visual image at all times.
• Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.

3 days per week our Omni Associates work on the floor at our Vuori Store. These days may look like :

• Working with our customers and being the true IRL' Vuori experience.
• Processing purchases, returns, and exchanges.
• Being an expert on our brand and our products.
• Offering style and fit advice.
• Keeping our store clean and tidy.
• Organizing and preparing inventory.
• Communicating and collaborating with a team.
• Standing and moving for 8 hours.
• Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Restocking floor throughout the day.

2 days per week our Omni Associates work remotely as part of our Customer Experience team. These days may look like :

• Answering customer email inquiries and concerns through e-mail, Chat, and Phone.
• Providing expert answers and advice on the following topics : Fit, Style, Use Case, Returns, Shipping, Credits, Defects, Gifting.
• Using multiple systems, including but not limited to : Kustomer, Slack, Shopify, Klaviyo, Teams, Guru, Global E, Quantum View, Yotpo, D365.
• Communicating with skill and enthusiasm (orally & in writing).

Qualifications

• Must be a current Vuori Retail Employee in good standing.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Must adhere to scheduled shifts with punctuality.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Pay Range : $18 - $21 / hr
