About project
We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist to join our team. This role is critical in developing and implementing machine learning models and algorithms that enhance our AI-driven medical imaging platform.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, product management, and clinical experts, to develop innovative solutions that transform 2D X-ray images into 3D, ultimately impacting patient care.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis :
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and patterns.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to inform model development and refinement.
- Collaborate with clinical experts to understand and incorporate domain-specific knowledge into models.
- Model Development and Optimization :
- Design and develop machine learning models with the software engineering team.
- Ensure models are scalable, robust, and performant in real-world clinical settings.
- Monitor and evaluate model performance, making improvements as necessary.
- Stay current with the latest research and advancements in machine learning and medical imaging.
- Collaboration and Communication :
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
- Contribute to the development of technical documentation and presentations.
- Quality and Compliance :
- Implement best practices for data management, model development, and deployment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, FDA).
- Maintain a strong focus on quality assurance and user experience.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Ph. D. preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and medical imaging.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Strong knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their application in image processing.
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, C and C++.
- Proficiency with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound technical decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and standards in healthcare is a plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
