Ability to multitask and work well under pressure. 3 years experience as a paralegal in Louisiana (Preferred).
Boutique Mid City law firm seeks paralegal to primarily handle personal injury cases. Our firm represents a diverse clientele in a variety of fields, including plaintiff and defense work in the areas of personal injury, property and casualty insurance, toxic torts, medical malpractice and estate planning. This position will chiefly focus on personal injury claims, but may be assigned other types of cases, as well. We are seeking a highly motivated paralegal to join our work family. In this role, you will provide support to our three attorneys and assist in all phases of the case through the litigation process.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of your assigned cases with the support of the attorney.
- Communicate with clients regarding their case.
- Draft necessary documents.
- E-file locally, as well as federally.
