The ideal candidate has experience with database design, development, data modeling, and security : Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft Access Database.

In this role you will maintain existing database infrastructure for cladding corrosion data (EZ Data and ECCO) and facilitate the entry of new data as it becomes available.

Additionally, you will develop new input / output forms and routines to help improve work efficiencies within the unit, maintain / develop frontend applications for both databases, and coordinate with database developers within the sub-division to integrate with other systems and support modernization / creation of databases as needed.

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience;

or Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Experience with database design, development, data modeling, and security : Oracle RDBMS, Microsoft Access Database Preferred Skills VBA;
  • VB.NET, C#.NET, Python; Oracle PL / SQL; Application IDE's : MS Access, Visual Studio, VSCode; Database IDE's : TOAD, SQL Developer;

Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston.
