Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders across WFG to understand the intersection of business strategy and data; build a comprehensive data and analytics roadmap.
Participate in the intake and vetting of new opportunities, ideas and solutions; manage team of data scientists, analysts, report developers and data stewards to facilitate implementation.
Build thought leadership on how WFG is using data analytics, data science and AI to across each functional capability.
Be a focal point of contact for stakeholders throughout the analytics project lifecycle, and work with internal and external partners to design, validate and deliver solutions with a commercial benefit for the organization.
Develop insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. Provide direction to teams to ensure delivery of insightful analytics on sales, productivity, process efficiency, forecasting, etc.
Provide input to Technology teams as business owner of core data infrastructure and tooling.
Design, build and maintain Master Data Sets and reporting tools across functional groups to provide a consistent sourcing and quality experience.
Leverage market analysis and industry trends to support strategic decision making.
Present in-depth analysis and recommendations to leadership.
Lead and manage data governance activities and has responsibility on the development of processes and implementation of tools and technologies to identify data quality issues and mitigate these issues.
Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the organization.
Create new and maintain existing partner and vendor relationships.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, machine learning, data science, mathematics, statistics, or related quantitative field
12 years of experience in domains such as data analytics, innovation, design, product management, software development, management consulting.
Experience leading cross-functional teams in a product management or consulting capacity
Growth mindset to identify promising solutions and structure the exploration process.
Knowledge of user-centered design (UCD) and lean startup methodologies to study and understand customers and their business challenges.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to consult with business and technology leaders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications :
Master’s degree in a relevant field
Five years of experience in progressive management roles
Understanding of data science, data engineering, data governance and data visualization
Understanding of Cloud consumption model
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership, relationship-building and interpersonal skills to influence outcomes
Ability to work on multiple priorities in a dynamic and complex environment
Innovative thinker able to motivate others and facilitate the company vision through planning, organization and utilization of resources.
Ability to work and influence stakeholders in a matrix environment
Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure
Experience in financial product distribution
Working Conditions :
Non-commuting Remote employees will not be assigned to report to a Company office location (although they may need to travel to a Company office upon request) and will perform their work remotely
Moderate travel
Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws.
It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.
The Salary for this position generally ranges between $175,000 - $225,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs.
Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
