Because of this wonderful growth, we have an exciting career opportunity for a Service Technician in Atlanta GA to join our team!

As a Service Technician on our dynamic and passionate team, you'll use your technical skills to diagnose and repair plumbing issues for customers who trust us to do right by them.

REQUIREMENTS :

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of service plumbing experience.
• Valid driver’s license; must meet the same driving record and safe driving criteria as drivers of our company vehicles.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes.
• Basic skillset experience with computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.

PREFERRED :

• OSHA 10 certification.
• First-Aid certification.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Evaluate and prepare for all work orders that are assigned by the Service Manager.
• Troubleshoot problems as described and repair issues for the customer.
• Establish positive customer rapport, selling the correct products and services needed without unnecessary upselling.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Dispatch, and homeowners to resolve issues and get the job done right.
• Educate and help customers choose among payment and financing options; collect payment at the time of service.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site, and keep an inventoried service truck.
• Participate actively in all meetings and training exercises.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure quick, accurate repairs and installations.
• Complete accurate and timely invoices, timecards, curbside feedback forms, and options sheets.
• Be on an on-call rotation as determined by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

• Lifts up to 75 pounds from the floor to waist level and is able to carry such objects for at least 50 feet and upstairs.
• Capable of driving and taking various forms of transportation to get to job sites.
