About The Position
Job Title : Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Specialty : PT Inpatient Rehab Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30), Sunday to Thursday Guaranteed Hours : Information not specified Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute inpatient physical therapy required License : Valid NH State License Certifications : BLS Certification Must-Have : Experience in acute care settings- Skills in Cardiopulmonary, Geriatrics, Neurology, Oncology, Orthopedics- Proficiency in AROM / AAROM / PROM, Pain assessment, Sensory response, Skin integrity, and Strength testing- Familiarity with assistive devices and adaptive technology- Experience with Myocardial Infarction (MI), Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD)- Competence in patient assessment, discharge planning, and development of care plans Job Description : Provide physical therapy management to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation unit- Conduct assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans- Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving mobility and function- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to facilitate patient care- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety measures- Monitor and document patient progress using Electronic Medical Records (Epic)- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards- Participate in orientation, which includes Epic training and an online orientation session- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize patient care responsibilities- Work every Sunday as part of the weekend requirement*Note : COVID-19 and Flu Vaccines required, with allowances for medical or religious exemptions only.*
