Job Description :
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Lee, Illinois. The SLP will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.
This role requires collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct assessments to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support student learning and communication goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and services provided.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Illinois State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement, or eligibility to obtain.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
