Johnson 4 is a medical / surgical and cardiac telemetry Progressive Care Unit, which accepts patients 18 years of age or older with cardiac and Medical / surgical conditions.
Common Medical Diagnoses Heart failure STEMI / NSTEMI Acute Coronary Syndrome Syncope Cardiac Dysrhythmia Cerebral Vascular Accident Circulatory disorder Chest Pain Pre and Post Pacemaker / AICD placement Pre and Post Cardiac Catheterization
As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following :
- Complete assessments, administer medications / treatments,observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
- Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes
36 hours per week, night shift (7pm-7am) every other weekend and rotating holidays required.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- ACLS preferred
- PCU Experience prreferred
- Progressive Telemetry Competency Education preferred
