FACILITY OVERVIEW :

Arizona Specialty Hospital is a leading surgical facility in the Phoenix, Arizona Metro Area with multiple awards, accolades, and a reputation for excellence in all aspects of orthopedic surgery and spine surgery.

Surgeons using state-of-the-art equipment perform procedures in the following specialties : Spine Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, Robotic Surgery, Foot and Ankle, Shoulder Replacement, Sports Medicine, Total Hip Replacement and Total Knee Arthoplasty.

JOB DESCRIPTION :

The ideal hospital CFO candidate must be able to demonstrate skills and leadership in management, financial operations, hospital operations, fiscal affairs, strategic financial planning, revenue cycle management, information technology, internal controls and compliance.

As a Senior Management Team member of the hospital, our hospital CFO will provide overall leadership and management of the hospital and participate in hospital-wide strategic and operational planning.

Financial Management Activities

  • Coordination with Central Billing Office
  • Regulatory Reporting
  • Capital Planning and Management

  • Finance & Accounts Payable
  • Information Technology Management
  • Materials Management
  • Case Management

Communication Activities - Direct interaction with the Hospital Management Team and Staff, Physicians, Governing Board, Executive Committees, USPI & Dignity Health, and Tenet Senior Leaders

Directly responsible for the following departments :

  • Business Office to include Registration, Scheduling, IV / Auth
  • Revenue Cycle to include Charge Capture, Collections, A / P, Denials Management
  • Information Technology Department
  • Materials Management Department
  • Case Management Department

REQUIRED SKILLS :

In order to be considered for this position, a candidate must meet the following minimum requirements :

  • Recent hospital financial management experience is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hospital financial operations or revenue cycle management and management of multiple departments including business office functions and materials management.
  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business degree required. Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Healthcare Administration and CPA preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, analytical and computer skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
