We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. Based in Modesto, California, this role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity in the finance industry.
As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for various tasks ranging from processing invoices to managing vendor relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage the process of accounts payable, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of operations
- Conduct regular audits of invoices to maintain financial integrity
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, primarily Excel, Word, and Outlook, to perform daily tasks and manage data
- Leverage your knowledge of Oracle Cloud for optimal performance, if possible
- Review and process employee expense reimbursements
- Set up new vendors in the system and enter their W-9s
- Utilize your 10-key skills for data entry tasks
- Provide exceptional customer service, including managing the front counter and answering phones
- Ensure the accuracy of all data entry tasks, particularly those related to accounts payable

- Must have at least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
- Proficiency in data entry with a focus on numeric entries
- Demonstrable 10-key skills are required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
