Seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our team! You will work in multiple settings such as clinics, skilled nursing facilities, home health, and more.
Job Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage all acute, chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and dermatologic wounds
- Change dressings
- Perform medically necessary debridement
- Establish plan(s)of care and work within protocols established by the medical director
- Accurately performs physical examinations on adult patients with acute and chronic wounds
- Assess, diagnose, and manage chronic conditions for the patient population
- Communicate with the Primary Care Physician (PCP) or office staff regarding any changes in the patient's condition
- Provides individualized patient teaching and counseling
Qualifications :
- Recent experience as a Wound Care Nurse (not just post-surgical / one-time but ongoing care)
- Recent experience with Chronic Wound Care Procedures like debridement, packing, etc.
- Nurse Practitioner License
- Must be able to pass all background checks
- Reliable transportation
