Responsibilities :
1. Sales Generating Activities :
- Conduct sales calls and meetings to generate new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and achieve sales targets.
- Identify potential clients and proactively reach out to them to promote company products and services.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of leads and follow up on all inquiries promptly.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential customers.
2. Key Account Management (KAM) :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Understand the needs and requirements of key accounts and provide appropriate solutions.
- Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Regularly review key account performance and identify opportunities for growth and upselling.
3. Purchase Orders :
- Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Monitor order status and provide regular updates to customers.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to purchase orders.
4. Cold-Calling :
- Conduct cold-calling activities to generate leads and expand customer base.
- Introduce company products and services to potential customers over the phone.
- Qualify leads and schedule appointments for further sales discussions.
- Maintain accurate records of all cold-calling activities and outcomes.
5. Calipers :
- Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to accurately assess product dimensions.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with the production team to resolve any issues related to product dimensions.
6. Customer Service :
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs and requirements.
- Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to effectively address customer queries.
7. Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills :
- Identify and analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for business growth.
- Develop strategies to overcome sales challenges and achieve sales targets.
8. Goldmine and Syteline :
- Utilize Goldmine and Syteline software to manage customer information, sales activities, and order processing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Generate reports and analyze data from Goldmine and Syteline to evaluate sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications :
- 2+ years of experience in a similar inside sales role within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business.
- Strong knowledge of sales generating activities, including cold-calling and key account management.
- Experience in processing purchase orders and coordinating with internal departments.
- Proficiency in using calipers and other measuring instruments to assess product dimensions.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address customer needs effectively.
- Familiarity with Goldmine and Syteline software or equivalent CRM and ERP systems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for success in sales.
