About the Role :

As the Emergency & Critical Care Clinical Supervisor , you'll play a pivotal role in the training, administration, and cohesive teamwork on the floor .

Collaborating closely with the management team and assistant supervisor, you'll ensure high-quality, comprehensive medical services to enhance the client and patient experience.

Your responsibilities will encompass scheduling, training, and fostering a collaborative atmosphere among team members.

This role is 75% technical and 25% administrative.

Compensation :

  • $31 - $38 pending experience and skills assessment leveling
  • Could go higher with advanced knowledge!

Anticipated Schedule :

Full-time, 36-40 hours weekly, one weekend shift, and up to 3 holidays

What You'll Do as Our Clinical Supervisor :

  • Strategize staffing needs in alignment with client demands and budget constraints.
  • Gain insight into the workflow of each department to optimize operations.
  • Actively contribute to problem-solving efforts in daily operations.
  • Cultivate positive working relationships across all departments.
  • Foster trust, respect, communication, and cooperation among team members.
  • Champion the satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
  • Serve as the hospital's primary resource for all departments when needed.
  • Coordinate and oversee the training and skills development of staff.
  • Collaborate with staff at all levels and departments to streamline service delivery without compromising care quality or hospitality.
  • Participate in the hiring process, onboarding of new staff, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and service need

Qualifications :

  • CVT Required
  • VTS is a huge plus!
  • Associates degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Veterinary Technician

  • Must possess and demonstrate effective leadership qualities.
  • Ability to promote effective communication amongst team members
  • Demonstrated professionalism in all interactions
  • Proven ability to lead by example
