Responsibilities :
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team to fostera culture of safety teamwork andaccountability.
- Develop and implementmaintenance strategies to optimize equipment uptime andreliability.
- Ensure compliance with safetystandards and conduct regular audits to mitigaterisks.
- Oversee the maintenance of manufacturingequipment and systems ensuring efficiency and adherence to industrystandards.
- Manage preventive and predictivemaintenance programs to minimize downtime and controlcosts.
- Drive continuous improvement initiativesto enhance plant performance and reducecosts.
- Prepare and manage the maintenancebudget ensuring efficient use ofresources.
- Engage with the workforce to fosteropen communication and continuous learning.
Qualifications :
- Bachelorsdegree in Engineering Facilities Management or a relatedfield.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience inmaintenance management particularly in a food manufacturing orsimilar industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft WordExcel and Outlook.
- Experience with MicrosoftDynamics GP (Great Plains) is preferred.
- Strongknowledge of maintenance best practices including equipmenttroubleshooting and repair.
- Familiarity withregulatory requirements related to food safety and manufacturingstandards.
- Strong communication skills inEnglish including reading writing andspeaking.
- Excellent problemsolving abilitiesand project management skills.
- Demonstratedability to lead teams and drive organizational culturechange.
PreferredQualifications :
- Previous experiencein dairy manufacturing or a similar food productionenvironment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with aproven ability to manage and developteams.
