About The Position
A nursing home is seeking internal medicine coverage.
The facility is located in Waverly, VA.
his assignment is for 60-90 days, with a credentialing timeframe of 1 week. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Only NPs and PAs will be considered, and there is no call involved. The average patient load is 20-22 per day, approximately 3 patients per hour, so candidates must be comfortable with this volume.
The patient demographic focuses on geriatrics. Required certifications include a Virginia license and DEA. Support staff includes an MD who visits once a week, as well as a Director of Nursing, administrative staff, LPNs, and CNAs.
The EMR system used is Point Click Care / Gerimed.
