We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team and contribute to the success of our students.
Job Description :
As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Your role will involve direct interaction with students to provide support, promote positive behavior, and facilitate skill development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Implement behavior intervention plans as developed by the BCBA.
- Provide one-on-one support to students with behavioral challenges, including teaching new skills and reinforcing positive behaviors.
- Collect and record data on student progress and behavior as required by treatment plans.
- Assist in creating and maintaining a supportive and structured learning environment.
- municate effectively with students, parents, and team members regarding progress and any concerns.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of behavior intervention strategies.
Qualifications :
- Current RBT certification is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology, education, or related fields preferred.
- Previous experience working with children with behavioral disorders or special needs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a mitment to supporting students growth and development.
