Jackpot City Online Casino is a leading global iGaming brand, licensed and operating in multiple countries and markets around the world.

Digital Gaming Corporation (DGC), a Super Group LTD (NYSE : SGHC) company, will operate Jackpot City in the USA, offering the full spectrum of online casino and live dealer table games to customers in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

We will do this through web and mobile applications, using some of the most established Betting and iGaming software and products available.

We are looking for a strong, experienced, and passionate business leader, with a background in e-commerce and / or online betting to lead our Jackpot City state management team.

The state management department is responsible for overseeing operations and driving growth in each of the states where we operate.

While there are commonalities across all US states, each state has its own market access partner, regulations, rules, local culture, media, cultural nuances, and tax rates.

Each state requires specific focus to ensure DGC is delivering above expectations.

The role focuses on the overall growth and P&L performance of each state, while also working as an effective, driving member of the wider DGC leadership team.

This role requires an experienced e-commerce expert, with a passion for and extensive knowledge of iGaming and online betting and casino.

This candidate should be an analytical, data-driven leader who is assertive and passionate, with the ability to communicate and direct others across all levels of a large organization.

The incumbent should be prepared to meet opposition and resistance to ideas and motivate others when deadlines must be met.

The environment is likely to be one which is full of variety and change, but the person fulfilling the role should be prepared to work within the broad parameters of the organization.

A friendly approach and the ability to influence and persuade others are important for this role. The person should be a leader who is competitive, imaginative, enthusiastic, self-confident, inspiring, logical, systematic, and precise.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

  • Leading the state management team and driving business growth and expansion across the states.
  • Developing a clear understanding of the financial goals, economic drivers, customer experience differentiators in each state and identifying the key success indicators.
  • Monitoring and analyzing state KPIs and key business metrics, reacting swiftly to address underperformance, and confirming relevant actions for optimization.
  • Analyzing local competition (insights, market trends, opportunities and threats) and setting a clear vision and strategy for each state that supports the overarching business objectives and strengthens the company’s position in each state.
  • Assisting the marketing director in developing creative, marketing and media strategies, identifying state-specific marketing opportunities, goals, and objectives.
  • Collaborating with the marketing teams to understand and support the development of national marketing plans and tailoring them to suit each state.
  • Interacting with the marketing director and marketing divisional leads to assist with the formulation and supervision of state-level marketing budgets.
  • Assisting with ongoing evaluation of marketing strategies’ return on investment (ROI), understanding the impact on each state’s P&L and growth objectives over time.
  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring a high-performing team of managers and professionals.
  • Advising, guiding, and mentoring your team., identifying and addressing resourcing needs, as well as gaps in performance and quality.

  • Working with the promotion and CRM teams to ensure that each phase of a customer’s lifecycle is optimized and covered with relevant and effective promotional initiatives.
  • Working with the business to continually review and optimize key / critical customer journeys that exist across the platforms in each state.
  • Working closely with key business stakeholders, leveraging your expertise and market knowledge to influence the product development roadmaps for each state.
  • Working with teams to drive constant improvements to the core product offering.
  • Continually refreshing your knowledge of the industry and in-market product developments, as well as changes to the compliance landscape in each state, to ensure consistent delivery of best-of-breed products as well as customer experience, in a compliant and responsible fashion.

Essential Criteria :

  • Relevant leadership experience in e-commerce, online casino, and / or betting.
  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Marketing, or other closely related field.
  • 6+ years of senior leadership experience.
  • Experience in growing markets with demonstrable examples.
  • P&L ownership experience.
  • Experience of setting, managing, and working within budgets.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize, discuss and present data, results, and proposals internally and externally.
  • Proven experience working in a high-pressure environment.
  • Significant experience of working with product developers, legal and compliance, and marketing teams.
  • Highly developed influencing skills.
  • Flexible with the ability to adapt quickly and efficiently to the changing requirements and challenges of a large international business.
