About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Experience : Minimum 2 years with previous travel experience License : RN License Certifications : BLS, Telemetry Must-Have : Medical-surgical experience Job Description : Work on an inpatient rehabilitation unit, focusing on neuro stroke, brain injury, orthopedic hip fractures, post-CABG, sepsis, amputations, and general debility.
- Engage in patient care with a 1 RN to 5-6 patients ratio.- Operate and manage equipment such as IVs, PEG tube feedings, and patient lifts.
- Use Epic electronic medical records system for documentation.- Collaborate effectively with 1-2 other nurses per shift, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- May float to medical-surgical units if not needed on the primary unit.- Maintain dress code by wearing navy blue scrubs.
- Work every third weekend with no call requirements.Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and have a supportive and encouraging personality.
