Service Technician
The Service Technician performs maintenance and repairs on automobiles. Responsible for removing, installing, diagnosing, repairing, disassembling and assembling parts, components and engines.
Performs all duties according to safety procedures. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and / or formal training in area of specialty.
This position will be located at our Karma Automotive dealership at 4040 Campus Dr, Newport Beach, CA 92660
Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to) :
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- Reports to the Service Manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
- A high school diploma or its equivalent.
- Experience with hybrid or electric cars is a major plus.
- Towing experience is preferred.
- Auto body and detailing experience a plus.
- Desire to learn new skills.
- Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 : 2015) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 : 2015), as applicable.

Compensation :
$28.50 / hr. - $35 / hr. / hourly rate. Annual rate will vary DOE.
