BEPC is looking for a Sr. EHR Systems Analyst to join our fast-growing team of consultants!
W2 Contract : 7+ months with opportunities for extensions based on business needs and performance.
Pay Range : $74.00-79.00 / hr. plus we offer Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefits!
Schedule : Remote position in the United States, M-F, 8 a.m. 5 p.m.
Job Summary :
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost / benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.
- Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be;
summarized, and formats for reports.
- Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Responsibilities :
Support the migration efforts of the integrated resident information system, which includes Cerner Millennium, Dentrix, CareTracker and RLDatix Risk Module to a new SaaS solution.
This includes comprehensive planning, data assessment, cleansing, and mapping to ensure compatibility with the new system.
- Will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows that integrate with the existing system, ensuring a seamless transition and optimal functionality of the new system.
- The Worker will document all phases of the migration process, engage with clinical and IT stakeholders for requirements gathering, and ensure clear communication throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. (40%).
- Ensures that design complies with HHSC standards. This task also involves setting up validation and auditing processes to maintain data integrity post-migration. (10%).
- Perform necessary testing of the migration process, including creating and executing Unit test scripts, managing test scenarios, analyzing test results, and debugging issues.
Utilize established software development and testing standards to ensure the reliability and functionality of the new SaaS solution. (25%).
Provide regular updates on the migration progress to all project stakeholders including immediate managers, technical leads, developers, and business analysts.
Use ticketing systems for information sharing and problem resolution. Prepare and deliver presentations and updates to both internal and external audiences to explain the migration process, system functionality, and technical challenges (15%).
Facilitate the smooth transition to the new system by providing strategic oversight and support post-migration. This includes training end-users, preparing comprehensive system documentation, and recommending strategies for optimizing system performance based on feedback and performance metrics. (10%).
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- 7 years of experience in database management systems and data migration, with a strong emphasis on healthcare EHR systems, particularly those involving complex integrations like Cerner Millennium .
- 7 years of experience in experience in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting, crucial for the efficient migration of data to new SaaS platforms.
Also, skill in using EXCEL, Word, Visio, and other spreadsheet software.
- 7 years of experience business analysis, including reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating user requirements, operational procedures, and identifying solutions to automate processes or enhance system functionality.
- 7 years of experience in documenting business process flows and standardizes existing and future process flow improvements by conducting data collection and meetings with the subject matter experts to gain full understanding of system usability and documenting.
- 7 years of experience in preparing specifications for data input / output processes.
- 7 years of experience in resolving complex data-related issues using robust analytical skills and logical problem-solving approaches.
- 7 years of exceptional oral and written communication skills, essential for producing clear project documentation and engaging effectively with stakeholders.
- 7 years of strong interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams and inspire high productivity and collaboration among team members.
- 7 years of in-depth knowledge of current IT industry trends and market insights, applying them strategically within the organization.
- 7 years of experience with architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information systems, applications, and organizational structure.
- 7 years of experience in Emerging technologies, both those new to the company and those advancing in the IT industry as a whole.
Preferred Qualifications :
- 2 years of prior experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
- 2 years of familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components.
- 2 years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
- 2 years of experience in regulatory compliance and data security related to healthcare data.
