Responsibilities :
Diagnose and treat mental health disorders.
Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances.
Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, treatment and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
Mental Health Therapist responsibilities include diagnosing and treating patients, leading sessions with individuals and groups, and referring clients to specialists as needed.
Ultimately, you will work directly with patients to counsel them in treating various mental health disorders to lead a healthier lifestyle.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Valid state license as (LMFT)
Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy
Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling
Knowledge of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders
Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with the ability to motivate clients

$120,000 - $130,000 per-year
Salary negotiable based on experience
