Project Manager Divisional - Lab

Job Description

Medline Industries, LP has an immediate need for a Divisional Project Manager to support our Lab Division! Under general supervision, this individual will lead the coordination and execution of the division projects, including collaborating with manufacturers, sales, and product managers.

This job would be in charge of present product capabilities to stakeholders, and promote product to costumers. Support division resources with specialized orders, logistic challenges, sales support and financial growth of assigned products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the coordination and execution of specialized orders, deliveries and installations requested from our customers.
• Project management : develop goals and objectives, organize, attain and manage resources, ensure projects stay on track and within budget.

Collaborate with manufacturers, sales representatives, and product managers on large projects.

Develop leads, and pitch product capabilities to appropriate stakeholders. Work with sales force to confidently promote product to customers.

Consult with customers and sales reps on their project challenges.

Oversee customer quoting process, including gathering competitive insights and negotiating transfer pricing from manufacturing partners to win competitive RFP’s.

Builds cohesive proposals that pull together solutions across product categories and manufacturers.

• Travel as necessary to be a liaison between the sales representative, customer, corporate office and manufacturer.
• Support the division and assist the sales force with project challenges (ex. be the lead between our vendors, reps, buyers, and customers).

Contact manufacturers directly to expedite delivery for urgent orders, propose alternative options due to budget constraints, and overcome damages / returns.

Be the bridge between our manufacturers, logistics team, sales team and customers.

Basic Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree

Relevant Work Experience

At least 2 years of marketing, sales, product management or clinical practice experience.

Additional

• Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example : using SUM function, setting borders, setting column width, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting, setting headers and footers and / or print scaling).
• Position requires travel up to 40% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant Work Experience

• Experience within operations, logistics.
• Marketing, sales, product management or clinical practice experience in the healthcare industry.
