Procurement Buyer
Our client, a leader in Aerospace is hiring a Purchasing / Procurement Specialist to join their team in Everett, WA!
This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits
As the Purchasing / Procurement Specialist, you will carry out Procurement processes , standards , and operational plans , including RFPs , negotiation preparations , and cost analysis.
Responsibilities :
- Prepares purchase orders , approves payments , and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly, under general guidance
- Prepares requests for proposals (RFP) and bid packages to take on new accounts
- Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries
Desired Skills :
- HS Diploma / GED Required and at least 3-4 years of relevant experience working within Supply Chain / Procurement / Purchasing
- Prior experience using SAP or similar software
- Excel : Pivot tables, search functions, VLOOKUP, sorting, filtering
- Must have previous Purchasing and Procurement experience
