Kratos is seeking a Sr. Software Development Engineer for our Federal Software Engineering team. The position will support dynamic, agile projects implementing a DevSecOps approach across all phases of the software development lifecycle, to include design, development, test, and operational support / user feedback.
The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as within a team setting on the design, implementation, and maintenance / troubleshooting of new and existing software solutions, primarily within the satellite command and control (C2) domain space.
This candidate must be self-motivated, be a self-learner, and able to work well within a dynamic schedule. Candidate must show ability to effectively communicate with various team members, as well as communicate with vendor support.
Candidate must be able to leverage modern industry standard technologies in the engineered solutions and quickly and efficiently generate estimates and status of design efforts, including materials (such as presentation slides), for use internally as well as externally with customers.
