Locum Tenens Interventional Radiologist Opportunity - Charleston, West VirginiaIMLC Accepted Large Academic Hospital Vacation Coverage NeedPosition Summary : We are currently seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for locum tenens coverage in Charleston, West Virginia. This role offers a structured schedule in a high-volume hospital with an experienced team and the support you need to succeed. This is an ideal opportunity for physicians seeking periodic work, a flexible schedule, and the potential for ongoing dates.Key Details :

  • Start Date : Thursday, July 31
  • Initial Contract Length : 7 days
  • Orientation / Training : July 31 and August 1
  • Solo Coverage Dates : August 4 - 8
  • Schedule : Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
  • Future Needs : Ongoing vacation coverage, additional dates expected
  • Setting : Large 900+ bed hospital

Department & Procedures :

  • Practice Environment : Hospital-based Interventional Radiology department
  • EMR : Cerner
  • PACS : Fuji
  • Common Procedures Include :
  • Ultrasound-guided biopsies
  • CT-guided biopsies
  • Drainages and chest tubes
  • Mediport placement and removal

    • Candidate Requirements :

  • Board Certification in Radiology (required)
  • Active state license or IMLC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) accepted
  • DEA license (required)
  • Certifications : ACLS and BLS (required)
  • Willing to license under IMLC only
