Key Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, S-corporations, trusts, nonprofits (990s), and individualsPrepare payroll and sales tax returnsParticipate as part of a multi-disciplinary tax team providing industry-specific knowledgeDeliver timely, high-quality client services and maintain strong client relationshipsAssist in tax planning, quarterly estimates, and maintaining engagement files and work papersConduct research on complex tax issues and provide alternative solutionsSupport practice development through networking, community involvement, and industry activitiesQualifications Needed
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting requiredMinimum 3 years of public accounting tax experience, including flow-through entity and individual returnsCPA license preferred (or CPA candidate encouraged)Strong background in tax compliance, planning, and researchExperience with CCH Axcess and RIA Checkpoint preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooksStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues to clientsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
